Monson 3 at depot

A picture I've never seen of 3 in  front of the depot. I always think of the Monson engines being painted all black and beat up looking with their automotive headlights.

I love the 2 kids standing on the board walk.. And the colors. Pretty fancy

My uncle, who was born in 1908 and grew up near the corner of Water Street and Forest Avenue, claimed to be one of the two boys in this photo.

I was a little late offering to buy the whole lot of Monson & Kennebec Central for the WW&F Archives - two others were ahead of me - I hope they are also thinking of the museum archives, and not their own dark closets where no one will ever see them again.

Hi Allan, I assume you are referring to the collection that recently came up for sale on eBay. For the record, I was the one who purchased the Monson blank timetable and baggage tag, and my plan is to donate them to the archives at some point in the future. I don't know who bought the rest.
