It looks great stuffed and mounted on that piece of track. I was there several weeks ago, before the arrival and I was at MNGRR several days before it left for Bridgton. Timing is everything.

Great pics Dad. Now all us B&SR railfans should go there, and ask when the rest of the Bridgton equipment is coming up this way. I would love to see B&H #7 there with two coaches running on at least a mile of track. Then again, I would just love to see steam in Bridgton, on the origianl railroad grade. LOL.

Is it just the WWF Forum site or other sites? If you are using Internet Explorer there is an option to not show pictures. Under Tools > Internet Options > Advanced is an option to Show Pictures that should be checked.

Yes, it is good that we were able to get the first piece of rolling stock up to Bridgton. We have other pieces in mind but nothing agreed to at this time. Stay tuned.

I'll respond to one post. There are NO plans to send #7 to Bridgton. We have already spent many hours towards getting this back into service and will operate it in Portland when we are done.

Those are very nice pictures.  I was in Bridgton last week and took almost the same pictures.  Yes, those of us who like the B&H are quite thrilled to be able to look at a piece of rolling stock almost on the original grade.  Thanks for sharing the photos for all to see.

I think the placement of the car is going to work out for MNGRR. Especially if someone were to make a sign stating the car is on loan from them. I went by today and there were a couple of gentlemen looking the car all over.

Good pick up. There is an article in the lease that states that MNGR must be acknowledged as the owner. Bill Shelley has been out of state. Once he is back, I expect this will get taken car of.

We are working on what is going to go up there next. The display track can be lengthened to get another car or two on it.

Not sure what else is going on with laying track on the ROW behind the C of C. Maybe the "Bridgton Boyz" can chine in on this one.

Hi Guys,

I spoke with Bill Shelley this evening.  The banner is on the way. 

"Return of the Rails" is busily pulling together a broad coalition of local groups (including the folks at Maine Narrow Gauge) to foster local support for the project.  That's the best way to ensure that when the rails do get spiked down, everybody wins, and they go down to stay.  Stay tuned Mike.  These things never go as quickly as we'd sometimes like, but behind the scenes the pieces are coming together.
