Volunteer Appreciation
« on: March 15, 2015, 08:22:29 PM »
As we all know, the museum is a volunteer driven organization. Several work hard at the museum a few times a year, while others work a few days a week there. The museum could not function without any of it.

In 2014, we had 185 people sign in the log book with time at or for the museum. This ranged in time from 1 hour to nearly 1000 hours for the year. We had 10 members that put in over 500 hours each.

The total hours donated in 2014 was 16,250. That equates to just under 8 people working a 40 hour work week for the year. That is an incredible amount of time.

So now on to my ulterior motive. If you have given time last year, and would like your thank you letter electronically delivered, I have that ability this year. Email me if you have my address, or message me through the forum. I would prefer not to put email addresses on here. Yours or mine.

I suppose that I should scan the unreadable signatures and post them here to see if anyone recognizes them.

I have Laura Rochette.
In fact she'll be at the RR 4/4 helping those who wish attach bunny ears to themselves.

Russell Marr worked in the gift shop last year.  Cindy can deliver his letter because he lives in the area.
