Ellie Mae was a DISH! (WW2 talk for a fox, babe, super cutie.)
Abq recently added an old show channel, ME TV --Bev Hbillies, Gunsmoke, Hogan's Heroes, MASH, Wonder Woman, Perry Mason, lots of "dusters", etc. Love it.

BTW, in viewing your great old Ford flatbed, would love to see "WW&F Railway" in white letters on both doors..
C&TS is finally putting their logo on their SUVs, fire trucks.
Never hurts to tell the public who youz guys are.

Also, am wondering why the museum, a subset of the Railway, is presented as the line's "parent company"? .

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the nice comment regarding the WW&F facebook page. 

Here's an answer to your question about the 1930 Ford flatbed:  The truck has marked side boards on the bed, they don't show up in the most recent fb photo.  The WW&F Ry lettering on the boards is the from the same stencil as the flatcars so the lettering is large, easy to read from a distance during photo shoots and parades.  There are other photos of the truck on facebook if you scroll back a couple of months.

The "Museum" in our name is as much to clarify our non-profit, historic preservation purpose as much as anything.  It also delineates us from the original WW&F.  The museum's original name, "Sheepscot Valley Railroaders," was a perfect reflection of our founder's and our organization's spirit- that is rebuild and operate the railroad as a railroad, not a museum.  The bylaws made clear that the museum is a subset.  That name led to confusion, however, particularly amongst the local community as to just what we were.  The original name was apt, as was the new name and the timing of its inception.

And now for the next name change:  Wiscasset, Warerville, Farmigton & Martian Colony Railroad...

NM skies are clear, mild this week. Time for the East Coast to get the hint. 
Oh...set clocks ahead tonight. Beats me why it gets earlier every year, but gives extra evening daylight work time, especially for you more-north latitude folks.

While the thoughts of lots of warm weather is nice they actually need mild to cool weather so the snow melts slowly, if it melts too fast they then will have floods and that is no fun at all! So I hope that it warms up slowly so the snow can melt and not overload the rivers and streams causing damage.

Andre...you're correct, sir. My impatience to see outdoor work continue took over.
Looks like Alna's wx forecast this week will not permit WW&F palm tree planting.
