Work done on Saturday November 1:

* Albion day - a crew of 6 went to Albion, where we worked on the switch.  Some weed whacking was done.  Some minor electrical work was done.
* Loco 9 - Jason and crew did a hydro and found a number of leaks.  He'll spend this week working on them.

Leaks include watwr glass gaskets, flares at Union joints, a couple threaded pipe joints, one soldered joint.  We'll work through then this week.

Anticipated work for Saturday Nov 8:

* Storm cleanup - The Midcoast area got really whacked by the snow storm Sunday, so a cleanup train may need to be run to remove downed branches and trees.

If all goes well, beef stew tomorrow, bread butter apple pie and ice cream. A few hot dogs for those who want them. Will be the same muddy day as usual. I'll be glad when the ground will freeze hard!

As it's getting cold today it looks like beef stew will hit the spot tomorrow!

Work done on Saturday November 8:

* Pole barn - The west wall horizontal beams went up on the uprights.  Some corner braces were put up on the west wall too.  The mud made it challenging for man and machine to get around.  Mike used the Kubota to get the large beams up to the scafolding.
* Winter prep - The cones and tape was removed from the parking lot so that it will be easier to plow.  The remaining ties in the lot between house and shop were removed from the parking (plowable) area and piled to the west.

I took some pictures today - but unfortunately none of my pictures came out!  I had some camera problem - not related to the lens cap or my finger over the lens.
