WW&F Photo at Trainsmag.com
« on: April 14, 2014, 04:43:47 PM »
There's a "Vote for your favorite" contest going on at Trains Magazine's websites.  One of the photos is of the WW&F by Dan Howard.  The link: http://trn.trains.com/en/Trackside/2014/04/Vol%20232%20The%20human%20element.aspx

Right now Dan is in first place.  Let's keep him there!

You beat me to it James.

This is free publicity, nation wide at least.

Dan Howard's WW&F photo of Bob Cavanagh throwing the north switch at Alna center won this week's Trains photo contest. Great job!

As an aside, I met Jim Wrinn (Trains' Editor) at an event last week. He promises he will be visiting the WW&F someday. I thanked him for his ongoing support of our museum.

This photo is in the current issue of Trains Magazine (October 2014), on the last page.  Probably will be on store shelves in a week or so.
