Life in the Polar Vortex - Round 3
« on: April 16, 2014, 06:31:59 AM »
Strong winds and sleet hitting the west windows most of the night, snow plow wakes us up at 6.  Ok, get up to feed the purring stock.  Check the weather station, it's 24 degrees.  Wait, what? ... there's 2 inches of sleet with a coating of snow.  Oh well get some oatmeal.  Look outside at 7 and there are two Robins in the dooryard looking confused.  I know how they feel.  The Easter Bunny could get lost in this.

Here in central Minnesota most of the snow had melted. I woke up to 2 inches on the ground and more falling. Will this winter ever end!!!
