The B&W is only one of two two-footers in St. Marys, Pa. The B&W is owned by the Bauer family, which has three generations involved in building and running the line. The other line, on the other side of town, is the Teaberry & Southern. The B&W has two steam locomotives, a German 0-4-0T and a home-built Shay, along with a number of small gasoline and diesel locos, while the T&S is all internal combustion. The majority of equipment on both lines is old industrial equipment from brickyards, foundries and mines. A large group of folks from St. Marys has visited the WW&F at least once. Incidentally, St. Marys is also the home of Straub's Brewery, which makes an excellent wheat beer with no preservatives or artificial ingredients. As Ira noted, it's quite remote, but it's worth the trip.
