I believe a two caboose train is a first for the museum. The train was a weekday charter for the Wiscasset Recreation Department so we ran both cabooses for the kids.

Pictures taken during and after the February 12/13, 2017 blizzard. The Sheepscot area received about two feet of snow during the storm. Most of this snow has already melted away during the last two weeks.

Wow,  All the pictures of the two locos, so many cars and all and switching going on.... looks just like a real paying railroad.... well I guess it is a real railroad and it does pay its way as long as we have so many talented and generous volunteers.

And the Blizzard.  In looking at the recovery pictures the thing that struck me is that it is a good thing we have Casey the railroad bulldozer to help with all that snow.  Boy, that is a lot of snow to push around.

Wow! Those snowy pictures make me happy I only had 12" to 18" of snow here in Western Mass. Great job clearing out that snow.

Monson no. 3 during the Spring Work Weekend. This was no. 3's last weekend of operation at the WW&FRy. No. 3 is shipping off to Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes for the summer.

Wowie, Dowie, the Brookville has a whistle instead of a horn.   Also a bell that looks larger than any of our other bells. 

Can we exchange our 52 horns for an whistle?  Can we?  Can we?
