Brendan, The ground and air pictures over the last several days really give all the long distance member a good view of what is going on in Maine. Thanks again, looking forward to next week-end, Snow and Santa. Fred L. Kuhns

Perfect combination

We can make it even better ... how about an early 1930's Ford truck at the North Pole? Then it would be Snow, Santa, Steam and Vintage Steel. After all, gotta get more dry wood up there before the first train.

Hadn't you better put the chains on the AA before you try to get to Alna center, Start?

Jeremy, the copter pilot/owner, would very much like to shoot some scenes with snow
on the ground, it all depends upon his schedule. He's got a young son at home, so his
weekends are precious.

Definitely a neat video. I thought that maybe the NSA was involved.

Just watching that, I was waiting for Batman to drop in out of nowhere... Seriously, good camera angles and excellent use of Hans Zimmer.

I'm impressed. How do you know the music is by Hans Zimmer?

I recognized the track out of one of the recent Batman (someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's from Dark Knight Rises) movies, and Hans Zimmer did the scores for the whole trilogy...

Mike,
Snow glistening, sleigh bells ringing, Santa listening, Steam whistling, and shining vintage steel make for a great Victorian Christmas. Hope you have a large crowd and a pleasant day.

Watch out or you'll have the Goodyear lawyers contacting us. When coming back from our newspaper printer one Wednesday years ago, I stopped in a pawnshop for a look see. When I walked out I heard a noise up above and looked skyward. There was a Goodyear blimp with its tail maybe 500 feet off the ground and the nose almost straight up. I bet those guys had a story to tell their grandchildren.

Looks like it was a good thing Victorian Christmas was no later this season than it was, based on recent weather.
Thanks for the photos, Brendan.
