This picture was taken in a museum in Rome devoted to Italian emmigration. This postcard was supposed to show how prosperous
it was in the USA so that poor Italians would make the journey. Basically this was propaganda from the folks selling boat tickets.

I remember a similar postcard doing the same thing with an HO scale BAR flat car.

Not to derail this conversation... But the car holding a peach(?) in the postcard to the right is on rare fox trucks.
This one reminds me of the Great Northern Great Potato they would serve in the dining car when you passed through Idaho.

So if it had happened that the said car and load had been caught in the Wiscasset shop fire, would that make it home fries or baked potato?
