New Hampshire two-footer

(1/1)

Wayne Laepple:
What ever happened to the two-footer in New Hampshire that was a victim of a building collapse last winter? At one point the owner was trying to sell everything. And why can't I remember its name?

Ed Lecuyer:
Beaver Brook Farm.

Their web site indicates that they plan to reopen in 2009.

Anyone know anything else? Specifically, what happened to the SR&RL boxcar they had?

Mike the Choochoo Nix:
Did't they have a pump car / hand car too? In any case broken wood can be replaced because you still have the pattern. Most metal is easy to straighten.

Here's the best image I've found of SR&RL boxcar No.125, at Beaver Brook: http://www.nashuacitystation.org/view.php?city=nashua&gallery=beaverbrook&id=20041219-0029.jpg
