Cool!

Thanks guys!

Ira,

Is the loco a Px48?  I have a copy of the book "Nasze Koleje", but sadly very little Polish.  (Obrotnica = turntable; that's about it.)  Do you have any additional information you can share on the locomotive or the line it's running on?

Best Regards and Happy Holidays,
Glenn

Yes, it is a Px48.
The location, about 20 miles from Warsaw, is a 2' railroad museum. Lots of displays and a short operating railroad. This was a short fan trip for us American tourists.
We visited several museums and rode three or four other 2' lines as well as 30" and standard gauge behind steam.
I wound up spending almost a month in Poland in fall 1991 chasing trains and trams. Quite an experience.

This is the Pila Locomotive Works in Poland. I visited there in 1991. They can do anything as you can see from the referenced web site. A "brand new" O&K 0-4-0t.
