We were fortunate to see the C2 during our "Patten Travel" trip in 2007. She was sitting in a corner of Minfordd yard over by the standard gauge underpass/station. The loco looked mechanically complete, but had been clearly "well-used". Even so, she ought to clean up pretty well.
I know the plan is to use her on both the FR and the WHR. They had chalk marks on her cab to show how much they're going to have to remove to get her through Garnedd tunnel. The change shouldn't be as glaring as one would have thought.
