Polar Express Departures
« on: November 26, 2011, 06:42:46 PM »
Other than the fact that there is now a 2:45 pm train, and that the Polar Express will leave right on time, there seems to be little information on either the Maine Narrow Gauge site or the porttix site to indicate when the scheduled departures are. Am I missing something?

John,
It took a bit of searching, but I was able to come up with the MNGRR Polar Express timetable.

Train Times:
2:45 PM:
4:00 PM:
5:15 PM:
6:30 PM:

With that information, Cosmo and I were able to stop there on our way back from the WW&F Victorian Christmas event to do some railfan photographing.

Here is Monson Number 4 decked out in all her Polar Express Christmas glory!

Matthew,

There's a nice video on YouTube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGCCoQzc9js&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

that shows an MNG: Polar Express train for this year. Monson 4 is pulling six coaches and a caboose, all quite full.

Looks good!
