Other Narrow Gauge / what was my encore from the WW&F’s annual picnic?
« on: September 05, 2011, 04:32:19 PM »

A quickie trip out to the “La Veta Pass Route Photo Spectacular” on the Rio Grande Scenic out of Alamosa, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the “Locomotive 463 Project.” Click on the link above.

Enjoy, and see you in Alna again soon!

I am calling attention to, and congratulating, Stephen Hussar for a well deserved second place finish in the recently held Center for Railroad Photography & Art’s “A Story in Three Photographs” contest.

Follow the link above and click on his name to see the entries.
He has combined some of my favorite elements; steam, man, night, and black & white; all three taken at the WW&F last year.

2-foot narrow gauge steam is alive and well through the viewfinder of his camera.
Thank you for sharing your talents, and keep doing what you’re doing!

Museum Discussion / my 2008 Annual Picnic/Photo Freight pictures

My first time to the W.W. & F., I will definitely be back. Plenty of rain, great lobster, and some of the nicest people associated with a railroad anywhere.

Jason: Thank you for giving me permission to roam with my camera. Awesome job with the Photo Freight runs.

Stewart: Beautiful flat bed truck, and thank you for the locomotive lantern, and especially the tour of Alice's Room.

Steve Hussar: Thank you for assisting with the Photo runs, great locations and scenes.

Many thanks to all others also.
