Thank you, Gordon, I was wondering how things were progressing during the winter.

How about the chassis? Any progress there?

It sure looks like the carpenters have been kept occupied this season. Everyone looks about frozen in the photos. And rightly so with the winter we have had to endure.

Why is it that the right-of-way from Cross Road south to the dam is free of trees and stumps? Was it cleared to provide access to the dam? maybe when the dam was built?

The map on page 6 of the Tours by Bill Reidy book looks like the west side of the reservoir could be filled in to restore the roadbed. If there was a large construction project project in the area with excess spoil it might be something to keep in mind. Like maybe if the Wiscassett by pass project ever came to fruition?

You guys are truly amazing! Talk about a professional job! There was no lollygagging on that worksite!

By the way, the station bench is repainted and ready to go in the spring. It is being kept warm and dry for the winter. I think I will have to rethink the finish for another time. It sits directly under the drip line and takes a beating. It probably should have a stained and oiled finish. Any thoughts??
