Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad / SR&RL not operating this year
« on: July 20, 2020, 02:27:16 PM »
Due to difficulties with the pandemic restrictions, the SR&RL museum has decided not to operate trains this year.  I don't know if they aren't opening up for people just to drop in, or not.

This week's edition of the Lincoln County News has a front page, above the fold article on the Museum.  I can't find it on the LCN's website, so you may need to buy the paper.

Volunteers / April 2020 Work Reports
« on: April 01, 2020, 06:52:22 AM »
I'm starting this topic not to necessarily report on work coming up or accomplished, but mainly to keep the continuity of topics.

With Maine's stay at home order for the month of April, it means that the only official thing occurring this month will be the board meeting on the 11th.

Stay safe and healthy, everyone!

Volunteers / 2019 offsite volunteer hours
« on: January 01, 2020, 08:08:47 AM »
Happy New Year 2020 everybody!  Now that 2019 is over, it's time for everyone who has off-site hours to please get them to me.  The ideal format would be a date, a beginning and ending time, and what you did; but if all you have is total hours for a month then we'll make it work.

Even before we have those in, we've had a few record months for volunteer hours, and hours for the year nearly match last year's.

Deadline is end of January so that we can work on getting the thank-you's out before the springtime.
