The photo is a little deceiving. The only thing that may not clear is the Bridgton plow..

Safety wise it seems like a good idea to postpone it with the expected large crowd of visitors on Saturday.
It was gling to be all closed off with caution tape. Safety first. I may still put in a drain there tomorrow so a smaller area could be closed off by the tt still..

Josh also has buried utility work planned for Saturday and Sunday so the area immediately around the turntable and electrical distribution building will be closed, as will that driveway.

Chesterfield Associates has picked up Clancy the Crane. We had used it on several projects and was very handy. I would like to thank Davies Allan of Chesterfield Associates for allowing us to use it as much as we did.

As James said in the Work Reports, with the threat of Clancy leaving, it was decided to stand the walls that were built. I asked Brendan if he was ok with it because he was unable to be there today.

Standing the last section of East wall, an error was discovered, which was the door opening was 4 inches south in the cement, versus what was on the west side and what was built in the wall.  We discussed for a few minutes but then jumped to the west side to get those up. After the west wall (and lunch) we tackled the east wall. We planned to reuse nearly all we took out, and added 2 studs. Fred was very pleased with the results (we made him stay until near completion) and we were too.

Speaking of Fred.. From the staging

From what I saw of it last night, very interesting. I can't wait to watch the whole thing...

Managers are board appointed. Hoping one steps up before the next meeting so we can do so.

Thanks for the reminder though. I have ordered a chalk line marker to mark out the parking. It will be here next week hopefully, so we should be able to mark the spots or at least the dividing lines after that.

Also, we do not need no parking signs in that area. We put them up along the south side of Cross Road as part of an agreement with the town. If we leave where the grade and 218 meet as I have it now, then there will still be plenty of room to pull off and park..

We do have a large gate, should a problem with vehicles trying to access the grade. We have had the sawhorses I made for several years now and have worked just fine, and are not too distracting. I think the only thing we may have is the curious ones walking to check things over.. So I agree with Jason.

I also managed to level around the container to get ready for gravel.

A couple more..

Clancy is still with us luckily..

Someone has been framed...

And for a good idea of the size of the front of the enginehouse, Dan posed by the West wall for me while I took a picture from in front of the bathroom.

The rapid bridge replacement is very cool. They have done several around lately. Build the new bridge next to the old one and slide it into place after demolishing the old in most cases.
