On April 2nd the main post was updated to make it abundantly clear that it is a joke (for anyone who missed the date in the first sentence, obvious implausibility of the "Mrs. Garrett" from "The Facts of Life" tie-in, and did not read any of the comments.)
Not everyone ties the date in with the day, and could easily skip the date to get to the main body of the announcement.

I think we should (which I believe is how it is) have to approve any alchohol event as a board. Also, the rule should apply to everyone (you can't show up as a guest and start drinking in the parkinglot) (which again is how I believe it is), not just restricted to crew. I have other opinions on the matter as well, that reach far beyond the museum..

I have thought about doing this for years, and finally got it done. A roll bar for the old Kubota. This will bolt to a frame member on the Kubota that is made for it.

When we planned the Mountain Extension, we made the decision to only cut the clearing about 20 feet wide, to keep from having the saplings and limbs grow. The thought was to be able to look out through the woods and see further. This is a different approach compared to the 66 feet wide we previously cut to. It does present it's own challenges doing it that way.
We also have 2 shoreland zones we passed through, one on the Mountain at the retaining wall and one at the bridge. Because of those locations being in the shoreland zone, what can be done there is very restriictive. The only thing removable there now would be a hazard tree. And not one that would be a hazard to a good photograph. We can brush cut no more than necessary to maintain the ROW through these areas.
As for the rest of the Mountain, if we wanted to cut it 66 feet wide we could. But not something I would advocate for. I like it the way it is..

The radiator for the Case loader was picked up today from the repair shop. We will install it next Saturday and hopefully get the loader together and back in service.

We bench bled and installed a new master cylinder, and replaced the vacuum hoses. While replacing the vacuum lines, I found motor oil in them. So now researching if I can rebuild the vacuum pump instead of replacing it. The pump still works, so I will not keep it out of service for that. We also replaced some coolant lines and V belts.
We are waiting on the radiator to be completed, which I expect this week as there was only a couple ahead of me when I dropped it off.

The note to James is the most important, otherwise when I enter the donation in the system I don't know what it is for. I have entered only 3 donations so far..using the memberdhip database to track these donations would be the best way to track the donations.

I am glad to see this. It would have been tough to keep the car looking nice with the checking. I painted the tongue on the tongue and groove I used on some exterior doors I built 20 years ago. Still look good today. It takes more time but looks better longer..
