The pics were from between 1500' & 2000' if i remember correctly.

I got an opportunity go go up in a small plane, not sure which kind it was.  It was neat to see the area from the area.  I was lucky to see the train go, on a random fly buy.

I have been running 100 LL in my small engines, from the air port in wiscasset.  Most air ports have ethanol free gas.

As for the refreshments, we went through over 20 gallons of coco, and 12 gallons of cider, its a lot of work.

So this is a topic near and dear to my heart....

Jonathan is correct, the ASME B30.  series deal with all things lifted.  I work with these daily.

The D/d ratio applies to anything which the wires wrap around, hooks, shackles, pins,  bolts, ect.....

The D/d ratio is set by the manufacturer of any wire, strap, or chain.  For wires and straps it is largely determined by the size and configuration of the wires which are braided. 

The wires experience some funky stress states when bending around tight radiuses.  Rather than being in just tension, they bend, localy.

Further, when they break, its generally un good......

Which is why wires for lifting usually have high safety factors, like 5:1 or so........

I noticed that google had updated the satellite photos.  It looks like it was earlier this spring/summer.

They have a pretty good resolution.  See if you can find the #10 out on the line!

I will happily stop filling eggs.  We have about 200 already.

You also should bring the lables for the candy, as some parents need to view them for alergy reasons.

We will definatly have plenty of eggs this year, now all we need is kids!
