Amwreck Killed the Maine Eastern and they will kill this as well! They hate superior competition!

See it would have been better if instead of a 45 tonner a Belfast and Moosehead Lake 50 tonner would have had history in Maine and Deer Island #3 returning home to the railroad. Happy April 1st!

Brendan above said some time this week. Cement contractor did not  pour last week because of the high heat wave.
I remember being docked at Bath at the Maritime Museum and it was 104! Hiding under the gangway for shade. I remember saying this it the hottest I have ever felt. Still nothing here in Florida gets close to that week in Maine. It dropped in temperature the week after but man!

Only if we need to have Sunday services at the Pavilion.  On the other hand, that could be another marketing opportunity for us.  Church picnics and /or BBQ using chartered "extra" trains.
I may be Catholic but Easter sunrise service charters would be cool!

Here's the next chapter in Wilmar's World Tour.

He's scheduled to arrive in the Port of New York, at the APM Terminal in Elizabeth, New Jersey, on December 30.

I know of several “watering holes” in the Elizabethport area that Wilmar would do well to avoid if wishes to maintain his innocence!

Keith

I know other watering holes around there as well especially in Bayonne. If Wilmar needs to see the ladies after all that time at sea, it can get lonely out there!

Museum Discussion / Re: Monson #3 - running in 2021 at WW&F?

The two Edaville locomotives I road behind on the Edaville was #3 & #7, I road behind #3 in Portland with my father, he road behind her at the edaville in the 60s. It was like a shared memory. I hope one day to ride behind #7 on the WW&F someday. Off topic, is there ever a chance maybe an open air observation car could be restored in Edaville colors. I know it’s not Maine history but it represents how the bulk of equipment was preserved?

You really need someone riding with her through the Panama Canal! The line handlers will steal anything not locked down. I have shadowed a line handler throughout multiple watches.

It’s sad that is out of staters can’t see the progress of a work weekend. I understand got to be safe. Victorian Christmas that was more of a local thing. It’s something to look forward to. I know North Pole trains here in Florida are operating. Are you doing a scaled back one? I would but virtual tickets for that, why because it’s Hope. Good luck up there.

Wouldn't be a Baldwin if it didn't leak a little oil...

Just like a Detroit if it’s not leaking oil somethings wrong!

Besides the above mentioned #3, what’s locomotive #6? Also who is # 10 leased from. We all know the answers. It is a good article otherwise!
