I ran across this documentary about the development of telephones on You Tube.

I wonder which, if any, of these closely resembles the phone system used by the museum.

Museum Discussion / Train authority on WW&F

I have a question and I hope I'm posting at the correct place.

At the Rail Museum and on days of formal operation, how is train authority assigned and controlled?  Is there a dispatcher? are agents on duty at Sheepscot and Alna Center?  Is any form of paperwork used?  I realize it's typically a single train running but what about when the model T is also running, or other exceptions?

In books about the original WW&F I've seen a rule book and a number of time tables but haven't run across a form 19 or such.  What system was used back then by the "for profit" WW&F?
