Bill, all hope is not lost. Hot Spot has reopened in the former Ship’s chow hall II in Dresden. It’s about 20 minutes from the railroad and has the added benefit of not putting you in eastbound rt 1 traffic to get to the Ry.

In fact, coming from Mass, if you take the Richmond exit on 295 and come the back way to Alna over rabbit path/ bog road, the time is probably nearly the same. Plus no traffic and a very pretty ride.

I come through Richmond as my normal trip. Rabbit path is very nice, and almost completely paved now. I don't usually go that way.
Hot Spot in Dresden is a suprise. Last Saturday it was vacant with weeds all around the building I thought..
