Title: Shocking Development at Sheepscot
Post by: Bill Reidy on October 29, 2020, 07:41:09 PM
Thanks for the photos.

I can't resist asking:  ;D "Why does an electric service building have a window?" ???
So you can see when the lights go out?  :)

For moderator Ed's benefit, I'm shocked.

An electric building you said  Well I wonder if it runs on AC or DC  unless it's an ACDC building and swings both ways. OK I'm grounded and I'll quit at once.

From the random facts department: The actor who uttered these famous lines, "I'm shocked, shocked," Claude Rains, is buried in Moultonborough, NH.

Don't get your wires in a twist, it may cause too much induction.

Which is worse;  wires in a twist or knickers in a knot ??

I bet shingling is more enjoyable than a run to the dump.

Soon Start will have to dump the Electric Building project because he is shingling himself out of a job.

The front / turntable side has to be shingled.  This will be done after the window is installed.
Nice to know that this thread has a new side to it.

I just noticed the extension cord through the window opening. Is it delivering electricity from the building or to the building? :o
There's a small squirrel cage motor in there, rigged to act as a generator. There are two squirrels (a main and a spare) that run in the cage to generate a small amount of power.
