Title: National Train Day
Post by: Mike Fox on May 11, 2013, 09:21:59 PM
While watching my local news this morning, I was surprised to find them interviewing MNGRR folks for National Train Day.

Every interview I saw, including the one below, was informative and went great. My hats off to them.

Thanks, Mike, for posting that. Both the reporter and the Maine Narrow Gauge RR volunteer did an excellent job. Probably very few people who've come along after autos, trucks and highways became well established can imagine the isolation in rural Maine that the little two-footers did much to relieve.
