Ed Delory asked me to post the following:
"There were some posts about parade ideas, well I found A picture of Edaville #3 in the Bristol R.I. 4th of July parade year unknown but it was there for a lot of years."

Jeez, I wonder if you could get away with a hot steam engine on the back of a parade truck nowadays...

Edaville #3 also participated in the Wareham, MA, 250th anniversary parade in 1989.

Bristol makes sense, not only is it the oldest 4th of July parade in the country, the Blounts are from the next town over Warren, I worked for F Nelsons brother Capt Luther Blount for 6 months before he passed away in 2006. I still work for his Daughter Nancy. To bad F Nelsons legacy does not even mention his name in Scranton.
