Hi Folks,
I just found this website. My German is not the strongest, but it looks like a good place to get your own Px48 in 750mm, 785mm or meter gauge.
http://www.interlok.info/Px48.htm (http://www.interlok.info/Px48.htm)
They're a good solid little locomotive and the design is well-proven. They're also a little snazzier-looking than the Russian KC-4 or Chinese C-2 designs.
As far as getting one in 610mm gauge (i.e. 2'), I imagine anything is possible ...
Save now and avoid the Christmas rush.
Grins and Best Regards,
Glenn

Mein GOTT!
Hmm....
Bleah.
I admit, it'd be nice for somebody, but not WW&F.
Hmm...
maybe you could interest B&ML (in it's curent form) in it to go with thier Swedish Meatball. ;)

I have ridden behind a Px48 as well as on the footplate and I have even operated one.
I have also visited the Pila Locomotive Works, which is mentioned in the article. Pila is in Poland.
These are strong little brutes but DEFINITELY not WW&F material

Thanks for the translation, Bill!
I've always thought those Px48s are nice solid little lokies.
So when I saw the page, I figured some of you guys would appreciate it.
Best Regards,
Glenn

Why not start with a 4-passenger, 610 mm, hand car from Interlok for operation on the Southern Division (track south of Cross rd.) of the W.W.& F. Ry.
