As I might be heading up to Alna during the weekend of the 4th I was wondering if there was anything I could help with if I stop by or if there any plans for that weekend?
-
We'll be running our ever-popular Pumpkin Pickin' Trains to SeaLyon Farm on Sat., Oct. 4th. Help with crowd control and similar tasks is always welcome. There may be other projects going on, but they will be limited due to the public trains.
On the days other than the 4th, we'll likely be preparing for the Fall Work Weekend - especially on Friday Oct 3rd (and we have a school group visiting on the morning of 10/3.) Not much tends to happen on Sundays, and nothing significant is planned for 10/5. On Monday 10/6 there is another charter, and prep for the Fall Work Weekend will follow through the end of the week.

For being a car host how does that work?
-
Hi Emmett,
Car hosts generally need to have some training in basic railroad safety before serving on-train. That said, I'm sure we'll be able to use your assistance on 10/4 in some capacity.
-
for training do you mean as in the online safety test? If so i've already completed that.

Hi Emmett,
Let continue this conversation via email - Ed.Lecuyer@wwfry.org - and please CC the training officer, Pete Stevens - pete.stevens@wwfry.org
Thanks!
