Another article that offers additional information including a comment from Maine Locomotive & Machine:

Thank you both James and Ed for the recent news about Edaville. I was amazed at the great photos within the WBSM reporting. The grounds look great and it was fun to see the old Cranberry Lake Park (a stop on the original Edaville loop) including the lighthouse structure. The light house was illuminated at night and in the winter and a good spot to get your bearings in the dark.

Interesting too, to see up in the attic of Mr. Atwoods' cranberry screen house. An old timecard rack and clock brought back memories from the days of prior employment.

A lone fiberglass duck also stashed up in the attic, keeping company with Christmas displays. I've cracked a smile from time to time thinking of how such a bright and festive looking duck, might get a certain W.W. & F. Ry. Chief Mech'l Officer going...especially stationed at the old pond at "Camp Horsefly" (west side of the grade on the Davis property).

Thanks for the memories!

I wonder what this means for Monson 3. If it returns to Portland, then what about B&SR 7?

I have heard rumors about 250 going to the Grafton and Upton Railroad.

I have heard rumors about 250 going to the Grafton and Upton Railroad.

No. 250's tender is already at the G&U (http://photos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo=2025032911595518645.jpg&order=byrail&page=1&key=323&photoindex=0&maxpage=118&maxphotoindex=1&key2=).  It makes sense that's where No. 250 would end up.  Edaville's (apparently now former) owner John Delli Priscoli also owns the Grafton & Upton.
