It looks like the WCVB-TV Chronicle episode on Wiscasset, including our Railway, will air at 7.30 p.m. Monday, July 18th. Hopefully the Museum segment will be posted online.

Brilliant, just brilliant. I just watched the first 10 minutes, two segments, which focused on the WW&F, followed by Don and Marsha Lyons and SeaLyon Farm.
I expect WCVB will post links to these segments on their website and YouTube later this evening.

I though it was great. Naturally I would have liked a full 30 minutes on the WW&F, but I thought the selected minutes were a good synopsis and very well done. Congratulations to Steve and Dave!

It was very well done. I like how they mention that everyone is volunteer and so many other terrific highlights.
As Dave said, we are truly a very fortunate group, with many diversified talents among us.

Hi All
I send a suggestion to Chronicle about the WW&F a few weeks ago, maybe about doing a short segment on the railroad. I also suggested them on doing a short segment, on New England Steam Corporation and the rebuilding of Maine Central 470.
I watched the program last night and I think that Chronicle did and excellent job, on the railroad, the farm segment, and Maine itself. So if you wondered where Chronicle got the idea I send them the suggestion, Pat.

It turns out that Chronicle keeps a file of suggested places to visit, and there had been many calls on them to visit the WW&F over the years.
In this case, they had decided to profile Wiscasset, which led them to the WW&F. Initially, they were curious about using the handcar - and then discovered we we much more interesting beyond just that one tidbit. (They didn't even mention the handcar in the final cut!)

The WW&F segment was rebroadcast on Channel 5 last night, named as a favorite of 2022:

According to my brother-in-law, this will be rebroadcast tomorrow (Monday June 19).

And it was. Good to see it again tonight, particularly after seeing all the railway volunteers interviewed this past soggy Saturday.
I hope the rebroadcast helps boost SeaLyon Farm's lavender days patronage in July, after cancellation of Saturday's Father's Day BBQ at the farm. I also hope many choose to visit the farm via train.

WCVB Chronicle is rebroadcasting its Wiscasset episode (https://www.wcvb.com/article/friday-may-31-main-streets-and-back-roads-of-wiscasset-maine/40625846) tonight (May 31st) at 7.30 p.m. US ET. I just saw Steve P.'s smiling face :) in a preview for tonight's episode.
