Marcia Lyons was interviewed today on Maine Calling to discuss our joint event "Lavender Pickin' Dinnertime Trains to SeaLyon Farm." Check it out at:
https://www.mainepublic.org/show/maine-calling/2021-07-23/agritourism-in-maine-how-farms-attract-visitors-contribute-to-the-states-tourist-economy
While she doesn't appear until 30:18 into the show, the whole show supports and validates how Agritourism has become a major part of what we are doing at the WW&F.

I think Ed meant to say the SeaLyon segment starts at 38:18.
Marcia Lyons speaking regarding the WW&F role:
"We only do the trains on Saturday, but have so much traffic that we need the rest of the week to recover!", said with a bit of a laugh. ;D

And so it comes full circle; agriculture, albeit in a slightly different form from the “old days” has become a mainstay of the WW&F.
