Title: steel for arch bar trucks
Post by: Mike the Choochoo Nix on January 25, 2018, 08:36:44 PM
Is the museum interested in some new 1/2 x3 steel to use in trucks? I know we are a few years away from using it, but I got a real good buy on this and could donate some if it was wanted.

I also have some things to donate (heavy) - so if someone is planing to come to the
Narrow Gauge Convention we should arrange to meet.

Mike Nix will you be going to Century College 02/03 ?

Mike,

We will gladly take that steel, for that purpose!

Thanks!  And sorry for the slow response...

when I can come out and bring it I'll contact you about the lengths needed, I have a friend with a commercial saw, it would be easiest to cut it to the right lengths here.
