Now that the B&SR #11 which is currently a full coach; has been back to Boothbay
Railway Village for a few months, is there any sign of work starting to do the proposed restoration to a three-door combine?
It is going to be a good looking, one of a kind in Maine car if and when it happens!

Actually Coach 11 has remained at the WW&F since it arrived last year, it just normally stays in the car barn. It was out for the picnic when we needed additional capacity.

I believe coach 11 is scheduled to go back to Boothbay after the end of the year. Boothbay volunteers have been at the WW&F examining the car for conversion work and I believe Boothbay is working on building the necessary parts for the conversion back to the cars original configuration.

Back in 2017, I asked if any work has been done on the proposed re-building of this coach back into a three-door combine. See down below. Now I will renew my request for news of the car.
Also I would like to know if it is on passenger car trucks?

Why not direct your inquiry to Boothbay Railway Village, Ted?

Wayne,
That would seem to be a good suggestion. But I did not get a reply, and so directed my question to another knowledgeable audience.

Last we heard Ted, the work on coach 11 was on hold. But that was over a year ago. Some parts had been made, but that was as far as it got then.
