Toward the very end of the Springfield show, someone by name of David F. Drozo made a purchase from us using a credit card. We used the "knuckle-buster" on it, for processing back at Sheepscot later.
Since then we've tried to process the card but it gets refused because we don't have the CVV code on the back.
If anybody knows this person, please have him get in contact with us via email treasurer@wwfry.org or the Museum telephone number 207-882-4193. We need his CVV and zipcode at the very least.

Could you call the CC company? Process that way or possibly get a phone number from them?

I doubt the credit card company could/would help. The CVV code is the only way they know that the person has the card in hand and isn't just copying the number from seeing the card or seeing a receipt.

Card companies today are hyper sensitive about card holder identity integrity, thanks to data breaches and hacking activity that steals card info.
