Hello All,
We are gearing up to add the railway's events for 2015 to community calendars. We need your help! If there is a community calendar you use or are aware of that you would like to see the railway's events posted on let us know. Post a link to the calendar here or let us know the name so we can add WW&F events to the calendar. If this request could also go on the Facebook page that would be great. That will allow us to get some feedback from those who don't follow the forum.
Thanks!

Stewart/Steve Z:
Does the Alna town hall have a listing of upcoming events in the town? Do they have a website?
Or are they already aware of all of our goings-on?
Happy New Year!

Hi Dave,
Our town clerk, Amy gets a list of railroad events every year and we give her posters to put in the town office prior to each event. She also does a weekly group email of news and events to town residents and includes museum events in the message.

Hi Stewart;
How do I get on Amy's list?

Dave,
Call or stop by the town office and ask Amy about it.
See ya soon

Thanks Stewart. I'll stop by on Friday.

I would suggest that you also consider tying in with your local "Patch" online news and community events folks there in Maine. I'm sure there is one for Portland and Bangor. Might also be one for the Augusta area and upstate. They can also link nationally so one or two contacts can give you hundreds of news outlets.
-
Unfortunately, there do not appear to be any "Patch" sites in Maine.

So far I have gotten information on the following paper(s)/source(s) for distributing event dates:
The Brunswick Times Record
Alna Town Hall
If their are other calendars that you, your significant others, friends, or family use please let us know!
