Title: Our first TV ads
Post by: James Patten on August 30, 2012, 06:56:00 PM
Starting on Sunday September 2, and running for 4 weeks three times a week, we will have a 15-second spot on Maine Public Broadcasting Network, Maine's PBS station, promoting the Museum's Fall Festival at the end of the month.  This is the first time we have advertised on TV that I'm aware of.  The spot can be any time between 5 AM and 11 PM - but we've been told the scheduler is very fair, and if we get a 5 AM ad one day we probably won't get another one.

I don't know of the legality of putting the ad on youtube and showing it - so I won't do that.  But if you're in Maine please check out MPBN TV - Channel 10 in the Portland market, I'm not sure what the Bangor channel is.

It's ok for youtube, we own the content. This was done very short notice. Hopefully I'll be able to get some footage of the
Fall Festival for next time...
