Hello everyone,

I thought I would come here to introduce myself...

My Name is Don, I just started volunteering and am currently a brakeman in training, working on the Sunday Train crew.

Hi Don,

Welcome Aboard!
Are you volunteering at Maine Narrow Gauge, WW&F, or both?

thanks, I have been a railfan for many years, I have to say I am very excited to be a part of the Maine Narrow Gauge. I am eager to learn all of the history of Maine's Narrow Gauge Railroads. I especially like that we are currently operating on the ROW of the old Grand Trunk, I remember as a kid seeing the trains running down Commercial Street, and seeing the trainyard on the waterfront, not to mention the history behind the Portland Company.

Currently I am in training to be a Brakeman, and then I would imagine a Conductor. It would be really cool to eventually train to be an engineer. I plan on attending the work days as they come up, I have many skill that I feel could be benificial and am eager to apply them.

Hope to meet you guys in person at the railroad sometime.

Don
