For those of you that look at this kind of thing, I changed around the member group list names and number of posts it takes to get to them. Mike was getting too close to the Superintendant title at the top of the list. ;D
The OLD list and number of posts to get there was:
| Greenhorn | 0 |
| Crew Caller | 10 |
| Switchman | 50 |
| Brakeman | 100 |
| Fireman | 250 |
| Engineer | 500 |
| Conductor | 750 |
| Trainmaster | 1000 |
| Roadmaster | 1250 |
| Superintendant | 1500 |
The NEW list, and the number of posts it takes to get there, is now:
| Hobo | 0 | no stars |
| Engine Wiper | 5 | no stars |
| Gandy Dancer | 10 | one star |
| Flagman | 25 | one star |
| Switchman | 50 | two stars |
| Baggageman | 100 | two stars |
| Brakeman | 150 | three stars |
| Hostler | 200 | three stars |
| Fireman | 300 | four stars |
| Engineer | 500 | four stars |
| Conductor | 750 | five stars |
| Dispatcher | 1000 | five stars |
| Inspector | 1250 | six stars |
| Supervisor | 1500 | six stars |
| Yardmaster | 2000 | seven stars |
| Trainmaster | 2500 | seven stars |
| Superintendent | 3000 | eight stars |
So, Mike you're now an Inspector, not a Roadmaster any more.

Aw, nuts. I want to be a tramp!
-
Just when I thought I was something....
-
It's okay, Mike. The moderator can't spell superintendent.
-
And actually, a hostler is lower in the pecking order on the railroad than a fireman.
-
OK I have fixed the spelling of superintendEnt, and switched hostler and fireman.
-
I changed Tramp to Hobo.
While I was approving a new (female) member of the forum, I became uncomfortable with that label showing up under her name.
-
Obviously you never saw "The Lady is a Tramp"

I always liked "Knight of the open road....."

Yes, but then the female equivalent would be a "Lady of the open road" - a title best avoided.

p.s. Ed, are we on our way to the Whimsical, Weirdness, and Foolery page yet?

FYI, all:
The Disney movie was titled: "Lady and the Tramp".
"The Lady is a Tramp", is a song, with nothing to do with the above movie. Frank Sinatra is probably one of the best known interpreters of that song.
With this in mind, I think "hobo" is a good substitution for our female members.

I finally understand the new name for member comment totals. Now would someone please explain the stars, their color, and how to get them? My last experience with stars as rewards was in the second grade!
-
I have updated the table at the top of this thread. It now shows the correct orders, spelling, and includes the "star rating" for each category.
In addition, there are different color stars.
