A message from your new President
« on: August 10, 2025, 11:58:34 AM »
As of the end of the Board Meeting on 8/9/25, Randy Beach stepped down as President, for medical reasons.. As per our museum By-Laws, the Vice President moves up into the position. So, that puts me in the position.
When I joined the museum 20 years ago, I never planned on being on the board, let alone President. I am very honored to be part of the museum, and grateful to be in the position I have been put in.
Also, join me in thanking Randy for his time as President. He joins the list of past Presidents.
Lastly, lets welcome a new board member who fills the spot that went vacant due to the passing of Bob Longo. Bill Reidy. No stranger to the museum, he has been with us for 25 years. He is the current Newsletter Editor, taking over from John McNamara several years ago. So, welcome Bill. Bill was the one selected by the board out of 3 very good choices to fill the position until the next election, at which time there will be a 2 year position available to keep the 3 year election cycles correct.

Congrats Mike and Bill. As a President I'm sure you'll do a great job the same great job I've seen you doing on the ROW and at AC since I joined WW&F  although  your task won't be a bed of roses.

Wow Mike, congratulations!
I can't think of a better guy to wind up in your position.
The burden of command may weigh heavily, ... but I think it fits you just fine.  ;)
