Work done on Saturday August 30:

* Coal storage bin: Mike got started on building the coal storage bin, over by the Building Maintenance container.  Over the past week a bunch of concrete blocks arrived for this project.
* Engine house: Stewart was painting, Brendan and Joe were putting up ceiling sheets.
* Machine shop: Some work for #11 (presumably) was going on.
* Public trains: Thanks to some rain the fire danger is down to where we could run steam again.  Light patronage today.
* Archives: Linda and Bruce were busy.

I forgot about posting this last week. I had the pleasure to present an award Saturday to this young man for his volunteer time from 2024. This is his 2nd year in a row.

Thank you Cody. Keep up the great work and we look forward to having you continue your efforts.

Congrats Cody. Young people are always the future of any human venture. I'm sure you'll be part of the steam crew one day if you keep at it.

Congratulations, Cody!
We want...A SHRUBBERY!  One that looks nice, and not too expensive.
