It is listed on the calendar flyer we had at the Amherst show this weekend.

Already made my reservations.  Hope to be able to bring more parts from the Foundry or seats from the Coach works.

I'll bet! I didn't grab one, though.

Hi All,

I have this springs Track Work line up for the three days of work weekend.

Friday - tamp low spot(s) between TBS station and TBS switch and fix switch cross level and some stone for curve super elevation. End of Friday we should have the curve prepped for stone trains on Saturday.

Saturday - Big job south of TB Bridge. That will need a lot of stone run both before and after lifting. Saturday morning two stone trains (hopefully) to very thoughtfully pre-stone locations south and north of the bridge, wind rows of stone- using both hopper and flat.  Then Saturday afternoon do the lifts south to north, running stone trains to dress what you’ve just lifted, again south to north.

Sunday - Finish dressing both south of TB Bridge and TB curve as necessary and general clean up, make sure we get the super elevation right, half day potentially.

Sorry for the delay for I was in NYC and I couldn't think straight.

Hope to see you at Sheepscot,
Dan

As an update. Here is the list of other projects that will be going on over the weekend

1) #11 team plans to heat and drop tires onto driver centers
2) #53 work to continue possibly - Pete Moxley
3) Coach painting - Eric
4) Alna Center shed painting - Mike
5) Track Work - I would like to point out that my plan for starting will have the train depart Sheepscot at 7:30am each morning.

Can't wait, should be a lot of fun.

Repeating Dan's point about work train departure time Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

5) Track Work - I would like to point out that my plan for starting will have the train depart Sheepscot at 7:30am each morning.

That's a bit earlier than what has been the norm.

I understand Dan has checked with Nancy, and she will be making breakfasts Saturday and Sunday starting at 6.30 a.m.  For folks who haven't attended a work weekend, Nancy and her crew makes awesome breakfast sandwiches (along with awesome lunches and dinners).

I always remember an early start like this, we always used to get up to the work zone around 7:30 and started work.

It always used to be a 730 departure, then things got "delayed" if the train left at 9 like "the recent norm" almost half the day is gone.

Right.  That's why I replied to Dan's post to emphasize the 7.30 departure time, since that has not been the recent norm.  Let's get back to that.
