Instructor Trainings
In September, we began to hold Instructor Trainings once again. [...] It was great to be able to get back on track and share some of the new changes as well as to have a chance to listen to your questions and concerns as we adjust to the future of conservation education. [...]
During our Instructor Trainings, we not only provided updates and answered questions, but we took some time to acknowledge some of our volunteers for their achievements. Here's just a few of our highlights:
Nancy Weeks, of West Gardiner has served as a Hunter Education Instructor for over 40 years. Nancy attended the recent training in Auburn, where she received a signed commissioner's print as a token of our appreciation. She has been very active with the West Gardiner Rod and Gun Club and she has led thousands of students in hunter education throughout four decades. Like many of our instructors, Nancy is very humble and takes great pride in the work that she does. Maine has greatly benefited from her selfless dedication to this program and we look forward to many more years of Nancy's leadership.
Thank you Nancy for your many years of service!
