I'm in East Tennessee, and have been to the 2019 Spring and Fall Work Weekends. While I was there, I also recall seeing another vehicle with [Nashville] TN plates.

If I am not mistaken, Harold Downey is in Texas (!) and working on making wooden parts for a new coach. I understand he has on occasion driven up to Sheepscot with a trailer load of pieces.

Welcome Ben you just joined an outstanding family whose I've been a proud life member since 2018. I live in France and I'll never be a WW&F's volunteer but there are so many ways to support those commited and strong minded volunteers that  have worked quite a lot of miracles for over 30 years. Besides the newsy newsletters it's really a thrill to follow in-real time thru fb and this forum what they achieve year long  .I'll never forget the exciting Trout brook bridge adventure that just set out  when I joined the WW&F in late 2017 . Come hell or high water there is always something in progress on Sheepscot campus or  on the main line, the proof is that even covid-19 has failed to stop them. Everyday I log on to fb and this forum, which makes me able to follow what is going on  just as if I were on the spot. You'll see, everybody is very nice and friendly in the family  and always eager to answer your question or to shoot the breeze on the forum. CU

My drive from central Virginia is 12 to 14 hours depending on traffic, and I am 4 hours closer than Graham from East Tennessee.  For the last 10 to 12 years I have been coming up three times a year, until the current unpleasantness that is.

Welcome, Ben. I've been a member for many years and now a life member. I lived in NH when I joined but now live in SE Texas. I don't get up there often but I know I have a welcome mat waiting for me when I do.  Seeing the progress through reports and photos on this forum keeps me in touch.
BTW, I have all the Kohler/McChesney books and use them regularly in my effort to build a version of the WW&F Ry in O Scale. And my wife agrees with yours regarding Red's!
