Hoghead is what I'm purported to be. I don't know whether that's up or down the scale from horse! None-the-less, can you imagine being faced with a lengthy stretch of piling to pound, and that's the tool you have to work with? Patient folks back then!

John, that is why I really do not like yard jobs. Half the time it seems like when your switching you get a car with a bad drawbar on the head pin. Makes kicking and stopping all the more fun. Only takes the second or third time, then you know to brace yourself for it.
