The quake was centered in Hollis, which is near Buxton (Dana) but not too far from you.

The quake measured 4.0 on the scale.  It was felt in N. Conway N.H., Boston and as far south as Enfield CT.  The quake lasted about 20 seconds in Alna.  We thought some Alco PA's were coming through the kitchen.

We felt the quake in Hampstead, NH. As others, my first thought was TRAIN! - but there hasn't been one in this town for 70+ years!

We felt and heard it too. Even shook our double wide. I said to sharron, guess that was an earthquake.

Down here in CT I felt it sitting upstairs at the computer.  First I felt it through the seat then I saw a floor lamp moving slightly.  At first I thought it was the neighbor behind us running his tractor, but I turned down the music I had playing and didn't hear it running.  I asked Sue "Did you feel that?" but she did feel anything downstairs.  Tuned WBZ radio in and sure enough an earthquake.

We didn't feel anything in Camden. But then, Camden is rather snooty and may have an ordinance against such things. (No, I don't know how they let me in.)  :D

I felt a little rumbling, but it sounded like a heavy truck running by on the road outside the house.  I looked outside but didn't see anything.  Ten minutes later my mother in law called (from northern Mass) and said everything was shaking in her house.  No such thing happened in mine.  Her call informed me that it was a quake.
