Rename the "Newbie" category
« on: July 30, 2008, 01:33:09 PM »
Everybody is a "Newbie" for the first 50 posts.  When I set the board up this was set up as default.

It ought to be changed to something more railroad-like, but I'm drawing a blank.  Any ideas?

The old board's system of ranks (brakeman, engineer, conductor, etc) are being used otherwise.

How about "Callboy"? (Although MassBay RRE members may get confused.)

Maybe "apprentice?" To be followed by "journeyman" and "master."

The old name for a "green" railroader was "greenhorn"
Greenhorn=Newbie

I like both Greenhorn and Callboy.  I think I'll use them.
