All, a few shots of some of the antique machinery at this year's picnic.
Herman and Patrick swap harrowing tractor stories...

Steve, I just got a look at the pictures and especially enjoyed the caption - did someone say something about a pun? I take it that you recall the story I told Herman -

Ouch! Patrick, maybe it's time to take away the F150 again.

Dave, the problem I have is that he'll plead "truth" as a defense. Judging from that lingering pain in my wrist, I don't think I'll have a strong case.

Getting back to "the pun" for a moment, Brian pretty much nailed it. In my original posting I inadvertently made no distinction between man and machine...it was absolutely unintentional. But Steve Smith caught it, and so I made the edit. I promise to choose my words more carefully in the future!

Patrick, All you have to do is appoint judges sympathetic to your your position. I hope your wrist is on the mend. Dave

Why go to all that trouble, Dave? Just set fire to the truck, it worked once before

Dang these guys are tough! Hey Brian, If you don't have your F-150 for a while ... I'll get you some time driving the museum's Model A Ford truck. I didn't forget the offer - it'll still be open for next year.

COOL!!! I'll hold you to that offer Stewart. I can't wait to learn how to drive the AA.

Have a fire extinguisher handy for that ride Stewart. Don't want that AA to end up like a F-150
