This past Saturday marked the 3rd day of our Pumpkin trains, with 3 more Saturdays to go. I was curious just what was going on at the SeaLyon farm, so I took the 1 PM train north.
We were met with 2 hay trailers pulled by tractors. We climbed aboard and set out, arriving at the farm by the road about 5 minutes later. The pumpkin patch is located by 218:
Meanwhile the Lyons had set up a tent for serving food, a tent for deserts, and a tent for other goods or buying the pumpkins.
To the right of the tent further back is the spot where the bonfire would be that evening.
Deserts and farm goods:
Everyone wore their masks, there was plenty of hand sanitizer to go around. Pumpkins were on sale from $5 to $20. There was also a schedule on their whiteboard about when the departure from the farm would be back to the train.
Everyone seems to be having a good time, which is the important thing.
