Work completed September 22 and 23, 2020
* Thirteen volunteers were working on various projects.
* Switching completed to include returning Locomotives #an 3 and #7 after
their boiler inspections back to their appropriate bays. Locomotive #9
pulled for servicing and repairs.
* Several shop projects to include servicing and cleaning of machinery.
* Training, Training Officer in up dating rules books and qualifications,
Trainman training for two volunteers.
* Small engine repair
* Small trailer rebuild and decking begins
* Archives work continually going, ask Linda about the new ledger she received.
* Unnoticed is a volunteer who continually services truck bearings on rolling stock.
* Campus clean up and dump run.
* I’m sure gift shop was busy with the weekend sales and prep for the pumpkin trains.
* Spring replacement begins on #52.
Yes this was a busy day!
Wednesday:
* Coach #9 assembly continues (it’s looking great)
* Small trailer decking completed.
* Machine shop work, I saw what it was, can’t tell you what it is.
* Removal of dirt pile by electric building continues.
* Locomotive #9, vacuum break work.
* Springs changed out on #52, adjustments made.
Note: There is always more going on that’s not seen, various volunteers are in
and out with many completing work off site.
